Lauren Berger Collection Helps Sponsor Harrods Star-Studded Emerald Ball, Which Raised £228,000 for the Elton John AIDS Foundation

London, November 5, 2009 - To kick-off its annual holiday celebrations, London’s iconic Harrods department store hosted a gala charity event on November 5, 2009, dubbed the Emerald Ball in honor of the 70th anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz.” Through ticket sales and participation in the evening’s raffle and auction, guests like Elizabeth Hurley, Eva Herzigova, Kimora Lee Simmons, Djimon Hounsou, and Roberto Cavalli helped to raise over £228,000 to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. US-based Lauren Berger Collection, purveyor of luxury vacation and corporate rentals, was a sponsor of the auction, donating a week’s stay at one of its elegant homes in the Hamptons. LBC will continue to be featured at Harrods through December, via videos playing at several key locations throughout the store.

Catering to a discerning clientele, the Lauren Berger Collection boasts a portfolio of eight exclusive East Coast serviced rental properties, ranging from deluxe residences at the Jumeriah Essex House in Manhattan to two homes in the Hamptons, a ranch house in Greenwich, Connecticut, and a lakeside townhouse in Eastchester, NY.
